Felt good today. I ran out on the legacy parkway trail here in N. Salt Lake. It was a little bit windy but the temperature was so nice it didn't really matter. I was happy to get in a good run after missing yesterday. I finished with 4x30 second hill strides. This is the start of week 6 of my return to running. I have been doing some research and looking into some running training logs. I have to admit I'm not going to do everything that I read because I actually want to experiment for myself and also the fact that my schedule won't always allow for everything I'd like to do. I'd like to get to 50+ miles this week and then I can start to get into some more serious training...tempo runs, long intervals and I can see a few 2-a-days coming up. Hopefully I can stay healthy. That always seems to be a struggle whenever we try to really develop as runners.
